Just a solid selection for a couple of nights in Franschhoek with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast was freshly made to order and tasted fantastic, really setting a nice tone for the day. Consider getting a taxi if walking back at night seems risky.

My stay was absolutely delightful, especially as I was in the area to explore the nearby wine estates. The Grand Suite offered stunning views surrounded by greenery, making it feel like a tree house retreat. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. Plus, the convenience of locating the ceramics gallery and the art house nearby made my trip even more enriching.

The small pool area is quite relaxing, surrounded by a lush garden that makes for a nice vibe to unwind. You'll find clean sheets on the sun chairs every day, which shows they keep things tidy and inviting.
The shower head in the Deluxe Room left something to be desired. it's definitely ready for an upgrade. the wifi can be a pain—especially if you're trying to use a VPN. During load shedding, the alternatives aren’t sufficient, making it a bit tricky to stay connected. Plus, the outdated caulking in the shower industry just feels a bit neglected. Lastly, there’s that odd request for all credit card details on a form, which raises some eyebrows.

cozy stay with great breakfast options
The Deluxe King Room was beautifully decorated and offered a very cozy ambiance. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a warm atmosphere in the designated breakfast area. I loved the stunning mountain view from the property, which made mornings feel special.
The Wi-Fi connection in the room struggled at times.
